Welcome. Here is everything for day one.
You have enrolled. Now there are a few accounts to open, a few things to sign, and a bag to pack. This page has all of it in one place, in the order that works best. Most families finish in an evening.
Five things, one evening

Step 1 · Parent portal
Your window into the day.
Every family gets an account in the school's parent app: the daily report, photos from the room, sign-in and sign-out, messages from the teacher, and billing. Your invitation arrives by email once enrollment is complete.
Step 2 · Classroom cameras
See the room whenever you like.
Each classroom streams to enrolled families through a secure viewing service. You will get a login for your child's room only. It is private, and it is one of the first things new families tell us they were glad to have.
Step 3 · Uniforms
Simple, washable, made for mess.
Children here paint, dig, build and pour. The uniform is deliberately plain so nobody worries about it: a school shirt, comfortable bottoms, closed shoes. Order a few before the first day and label every piece.
Step 4 · Parent handbook
The rules of the house, in plain words.
Hours, illness, closures, food, birthdays, what happens when a child bites: it is all in the handbook, written to be read, not filed. Read it once before the first day; you will sign to say you have.

The forms, and the bag.
Florida asks for a few documents before a child can start, and the classroom asks for a few things in the bag. The list below is short and printable. Bring it on the first morning and we will tick it off together.

The parent portal
The school runs its day on one parent app. It is where the teacher posts the daily report, where photos from the room arrive, where you sign your child in and out, and where invoices live. Messages to the classroom go through it too, so nothing gets lost in a text.
Once you are in, turn notifications on for the daily report and leave the rest quiet. You will look forward to the 3pm photo more than you expect.
- 1 Watch for the invitationIt comes to the email address on your enrollment form, usually within a day of enrollment. Check spam once before you call us.
- 2 Create your account, then download the appSet a password from the invitation, then install the app on your phone. Add a second parent or a grandparent from inside the app; each adult gets their own login.
- 3 Add your pickup list and payment methodAnyone who may collect your child goes on the authorized pickup list with a photo ID. Tuition is billed through the same app.

Classroom cameras
Every classroom has a camera that enrolled families can watch from a phone or a laptop, through a secure viewing service. You see your child's room, live, during viewing hours.
We offer it because trust should not have to wait for the daily report. Watch the first morning drop-off settle. Then, most families tell us, you will check less and less.
Register once, then sign in at the same address whenever you want to look in.
How you get in
Your login is created when enrollment is complete and sent to the same email as the portal invitation. It opens your child's room only.
Who else can watch
Two adults per family by default. Ask the office to add a grandparent.
The two rules
Never share your login, and never record or post the stream. Other people's children are in that room. Breaking either rule ends access for the family.

Uniforms
Plain on purpose. A child who is worried about a shirt does not climb, pour or paint. The uniform is a school top over whatever comfortable bottoms your child can manage alone, and shoes they can run in. Everything will get dirty, and that is the point.
The top
A school polo or t-shirt with the mark. Three is comfortable for a five-day week; five means you never think about laundry.
Bottoms and shoes
Any bottoms your child can pull up and down alone: elastic waist, no belts. Closed-toe shoes with a back. No crocs, flip-flops or light-up soles; they end a climb early.

Order online and it ships to you or to the school. Allow two weeks before the first day.

Name in every shirt, both shoes, the water bottle and the spare-clothes bag. Iron-on or stick-on labels last longer than marker. Unlabelled clothes go to the lost-and-found basket in the lobby and are donated at the end of each month.
Step 4 of 5
The parent handbook
Everything a parent asks in the first month, answered before they ask: hours and late pickup, the illness rules, hurricane closures, food and allergies, birthdays, biting, photographs, how to raise a concern and who to raise it with. It is written in plain language and it is short enough to read in one sitting.
You sign an acknowledgement in the parent portal to say you have read it. That signature is one of the documents Florida requires before the first day.

The first-day checklist
Print this page, or tick it off on your phone. The forms are the part that cannot wait: Florida does not let a child start without them, and neither can we.
Paperwork, before day one
- Enrollment agreement, signed in the portal
- Florida immunization record (Form DH 680)
- Florida physical examination (Form DH 3040), dated within the last year
- Emergency contacts and the authorized pickup list, with photo ID
- Allergy and medication forms, if any apply
- Parent handbook acknowledgement
- Photo and camera consent
In the bag, every day
- A full change of clothes, labeled, in a zip bag
- Water bottle with the name on it
- Diapers and wipes for the week, if needed
- Sunscreen, labeled, with the consent form signed
- A small comfort item for rest time, if your child has one
- Nothing else. Toys stay home, and we will say why on the tour.
The first morning
- Arrive by the start of your child's room, not after
- Sign in on the tablet at the door with your portal login
- Say goodbye once, warmly, and go. A long goodbye is harder on everyone.
- Check the cameras when you get to the car if you need to. Then check the 3pm report.
