The Winter Park School grew around a question:
"what should children learn when technology can increasingly provide the answers?"
Our conclusion
Not more technology. More of what technology can't hand them: curiosity, judgment, agency, persistence.
That thinking became Innovation Advantage™ and The CAPE Method™ — developed through classroom practice, with real children, and refined every time a lesson met a classroom and lost.
Everything new starts with children
A lesson isn't finished because someone wrote it.

When a lesson doesn't work, we don't blame the child. We improve the lesson.

Hundreds of times over. Sometimes the children send us back to the drawing board. That's exactly how it should be.

Today, the program developed here is also available to independent schools through Innovation Advantage Schools™. But this remains its home: new ideas start here, new lessons are tested here, and the children in these classrooms keep making the curriculum better.

Our campus
A school as unique as Winter Park.
Before we became The Winter Park School, generations of Winter Park children were already growing up inside these walls. For more than years, the preschool at Church welcomed children into a community shaped by care, learning, friendship and belonging. Some of those children came back years later as parents, walking a new generation through the same doors.
In 2024 the church entrusted the operation of the preschool to a private educational operator — a new chapter in a story already decades in the making. Today, as the school becomes The Winter Park School, we are not starting over. We are building on a legacy, and carrying it forward.
We are at 225 S. Interlachen Avenue, a few steps from Park Avenue, in a historic building that belongs to this neighborhood. Children learn within the character of Winter Park rather than sealed off from it — the street, the shops, the trees and the people become an extension of the classroom.
