Teach where the curriculum gets written.
Here you get a coach in your room and lessons you help write. Here you help write it — and then you find out on a Tuesday whether it survives contact with real four-year-olds. Lessons developed in these classrooms are now taught in Innovation Advantage Schools™ in other states. They started as somebody's idea at this table.
small school. real authorship. no scripts. ↓
Open roles
What we're hiring for right now.
Enrollment is capped by classroom, so we hire rarely and carefully. When a room opens, it matters enormously who walks into it.
Currently
Call the office or write to us and we will tell you exactly what is open today.
We keep introductions on file and read every one. If nothing is open today and you are the right person, we would still rather know you exist.
Send an introduction →We publish pay ranges with every posting, and planning time is paid.
Four reasons good teachers stay.
Your name is on the work
Write a lesson that works and it doesn't stay in your room. It goes into the program other schools license. That is authorship, not compliance.
Coaching every week
Someone watches the lesson you are actually teaching this week and talks with you about practice — not paperwork, not a rubric score.
A small building
One location, capped enrollment, a director who knows every child's current question. Decisions get made by people you can find in the hallway.
Permission to let a lesson fail
When something doesn't work here, we don't blame the children and we don't blame you. We change the lesson. That has happened hundreds of times.
How hiring works
Four steps. You'll meet children before we make an offer.
An introduction, not a form
Email us. Tell us about one child you taught and what you learned from them. A CV is welcome; that paragraph matters more.
A conversation about a lesson that failed
Everyone has one. We want to hear you describe it precisely, and hear what you changed afterwards.
A working morning in a classroom
Paid. You are with children, not observing from a chair. We are watching one thing: what you do when the plan stops working.
Offer, screening, and a real onboarding
Background screening and clearances per Florida DCF requirements, then paid training in the CAPE Method™ before you lead a room.
This isn’t the right school for everyone.
If you want a printed script and a predictable week, you will find this frustrating. Projects here run for weeks and go sideways on purpose.
If you are uncomfortable being observed, this will be hard. Someone is in your room most weeks, and the conversation afterwards is direct.
If mess makes you anxious, know what you are walking into. There is water on the floor by ten most mornings, and that is the work, not a failure of it.
and if all of that sounds like the best job you've read about this year — write to us.
Come and write the next lesson.
One email is enough to start. Tell us about a child you taught and what they changed about the way you teach.
