A new chapter is unfolding at The Winter Park School, and we recently celebrated this exciting milestone with a special school assembly and ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
Surrounded by our students, educators, school leadership, and community representatives, we came together to celebrate more than a new name. We celebrated a shared vision for the future of early childhood education—one rooted in curiosity, innovation, strong relationships, and a deep commitment to the Winter Park community.
More Than a New Name: A Renewed Vision
Formerly known as Young Innovators Academy Winter Park, our school is embracing its new identity as The Winter Park School, reflecting both our connection to the community we serve and our commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience.
While our name has changed, our dedication to nurturing curious, confident, creative learners remains at the heart of everything we do.

Introducing Our House System: Four Values, One School Community
A meaningful part of our school assembly was celebrating the values that will guide our students as they learn, grow, and contribute to their community.
Our new House System brings children together across classrooms and age groups, creating opportunities to build friendships, develop leadership skills, and practice positive character traits.
Each house represents one of the four pillars of our school culture.

Building Belonging Through Our Houses
Our House System is designed to strengthen the sense of belonging that makes a school community special.
Children become part of a house that connects them with peers of different ages. Siblings belong to the same house, reinforcing family connections within our school community.
Throughout the year, students will have opportunities to earn House Points by demonstrating wonder, kindness, courage, and service.
House celebrations, collaborative projects, leadership opportunities, and community initiatives will help students experience these values in action.
Our goal is not simply to reward positive behavior. It is to build a culture where children understand that their actions matter and that everyone has something valuable to contribute.
